40 years ago, the Société Suisse des Explosifs (SSE) founded in Gamsen (Switzerland) its fine chemical unit Valsynthese, a second successful pillar, in addition to the production and sale of civil explosives.
Over the last four decades Valsynthese has evolved into a premium provider of development and production services and now it is a leading specialist in handling hazardous chemical reactions.
Located in the centre of Europe surrounded by fascinating and unspoiled territory, Valsynthese is regarded as one of Europe's highly experienced chemical producers in the field of CDMO.
The fine chemicals unit at SSE has undergone a great development in recent years and has impressively confirmed that it is an important pillar in our Group. Today, fine chemicals make a significant contribution to the competitiveness of our Gamsen site. I am delighted to celebrate this important achievement!
